These students—many of whom arrived in the U.S. with advanced degrees but limited English—are rebuilding their careers thanks to ESL access, community support, and their own resilience.

Highlights from this year's graduates include:
  • Ms. Fatima Shujaee, now a teaching assistant in Arlington
  • Ms. Nabila Naseri, now a kindergarten teacher pursuing higher education
  • Mr. Ahmadzai, now a civil engineer and bridge inspector
