I. Cancellation, Refund, and Billing Policy

1. Overview

This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to class cancellations, refunds, transfers, and billing for all programs offered by Simplify Global Education (SGE).

 

2. Cancellations by SGE

In the event that SGE cancels a class, enrolled students will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid.

 

3. Student-Initiated Cancellations

3.1 Before Account Creation

Students may cancel their registration without penalty prior to the creation of their Simplify Student Account.

3.2 After Account Creation

Once a student account has been created, the registration is considered active and subject to the refund conditions outlined below.

 

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Eligibility Window

Refund requests will only be considered if submitted between fourteen (14) days and one (1) month from the original registration date.

Requests submitted outside of this timeframe will not be eligible for review.

4.2 Conditions for Approval

All refund requests must:

  • Be formally submitted through official communication channels
  • Include valid justification for the request
  • Provide supporting evidence where applicable

Refund approvals are granted at the discretion of SGE and are not guaranteed.

4.3 Method of Refund

Approved refunds will be processed through one of the following methods:

  • Bank transfer to the student’s designated account
  • Cash payment

 

5. Class Transfers and Credit Validity

Students may request to transfer their enrollment to another current or future class, subject to availability.

Any unused funds or credits will remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the original registration date, after which they will expire.

 

6. Billing Cycle and Deadlines

SGE operates on a bi-monthly billing cycle.

To avoid charges for the upcoming billing period, students must submit cancellation requests no later than two (2) weeks prior to the next billing date.

1. Purpose

This principle applies across all areas of operation, including recruitment, program delivery, and workplace conduct.

4. Reporting and Complaint Procedure

4.1 Reporting

Individuals are encouraged to report concerns to:

  • Human Resources
  • Any member of SGE leadership

4.2 Investigation Process

All reports will be handled:

  • Promptly
  • Fairly
  • With confidentiality maintained to the extent possible

4.3 Corrective Action

If a complaint is substantiated, SGE will take appropriate corrective measures to address the issue and prevent recurrence.

5. Anti-Retaliation

SGE strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who:

  • Reports misconduct
  • Participates in an investigation
  • Exercises their rights under this policy

Any form of retaliation will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination or removal from programs.

6. Responsibilities

All individuals affiliated with SGE are expected to:

  • Comply with this policy
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive environment
  • Act in accordance with SGE’s values

Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.

7. Policy Review and Updates

This policy is reviewed on an annual basis and may be updated to reflect:

  • Legal requirements
  • Organizational needs
  • Evolving best practices
